TransMonEE database
TransMonEE (Transformative Monitoring for Enhanced Equity) database was developed by UNICEF for improving the coverage, quality, disaggregation,
accessibility and use of data on children across a breadth of areas relevant to children’s rights and well-being,
aligned with the Convention on the Rights of the child and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Database has existed for more than 30 years and gives support to countries in their efforts for monitoring child rights, empowering informed decision-making,
and deepening our understanding of the challenges children face in the Europe and Central Asia region.
In the period 2019-2021, the database was revised regarding domains, sub-domains, indicators, definitions and guidelines and many technical improvements were made.
The focus is given to administrative data inareas such as child protection, justice for children, children with disabilities, and violence against children.
The revised database refers to period 2015 onward.
